We were going to stay there but the lady on the phone wasn't very helpful or friendly, so were pleased to have found a lovely friendly campsite on your way there
Back to basics campsite. Good prices. One large open field and a couple of smaller fields make up the campsite. There are electric hook ups and showers (on a token system) and toilets, pretty open though so it can get cold in there.Shop/office with basic stock. On busy weekends there is also a cafe doing breakfasts.
For coastal walking and rock climbing you can't beat the location. Access to both activities is brilliant.The facilities are good and well maintained. Highly recommended
Excellent place with an old school feel about it. The camp shop is well stocked and pretty cheap. Staff are friendly and the site is a short walk to the coastal path, the local village shop and pub and numerous other footpaths. Be prepared for lots of kids, it's a very family campsite.
Lovely atmosphere, great amenities and shop but fact that you have to pay extra for a warm shower has put us off a little bit. You can't event pay using coins, you need to get special token from a shop, that is closed at the early morning. So if you want to take a warm shower at 7am and you didn't get your tokens the day before you will need to enjoy cold splash :)
