I have been to bijou camping 4 years in a row with my family the kids absolutely love the place & make a new set of friends every time we go,while the facilities are fairly basic (but let's not forget we are camping) they are more than sufficient enough,it is ideally situated with the sea front & town centre a short walk away so no need for parking fees when spending a day on the beach or an evening out having a meal or a couple of drinks it also has an adjoining play park & playing fields too,the owner Andy & his partner have always been a pleasure to deal with & are more than accommodating & very helpful,I feel that if anyone has a bad word to say about this place then it is them that is the problem.

What a great little find! Lovely site with a rural feel but in town so everything in walking distance. Friendly helpful staff, great breakfast van, and clean facilities. Will be back.

I was disappointed to over hear a young lady trying to defend herself to the owner of this campsite! Allowing some one to set up at midnight and wake up a young family isnt exceptable, the owner was vile and aggressive, I had my child with me so found it difficult to help the lady out, she asked for her money back and he slammed it in her hand. I went back and told my wife who immediately wanted to leave - what a disgusting man!! If you can call him that!!!!
