We came here as we are attempting to explore the whole jurrasic coast. I had low expectations but thoroughly enjoyed the day here. Perfect landscape, amazing views. Paths that are safe for kids. Information about the area everywhere on plaques which was very good. Didn't do the whole park just the museum, globe and coastal path to the lighthouse. The local staff cutting trees (off season) even stopped working while we walked around the globe. Amazing place and very well looked after! We'll be coming back with the kids
This place is lovely. The walks around here are fantastic. There is a great lighthouse to find just a short walk away as well as some caves. A lovely cafe is located at the visitor centre serving coffee and food. They also provide milk alternatives like soya milk.
Nice campsite. A good enough pitch, a shop with everything you need for camping, sports equipment, facilities, water and electricity, a games room containing; board games, snooker and table football WiFi (and 4G) and an information center. Everything you need for camping really. Also, most importantly, chickens. Lots a people around and space for both tents and camper vans.
Well worth a visit with a small museum and a tea room. Best of all is the views from the high viewpoint. Best to visit on a sunny day as can get very windy up there. You must take a walk down to the stone globe showing many historical names of countries that have changed over the last 100 or so years.
Go there now! You won't regret it. A place of absolutely stunning beauty. Words can not describe how relaxing and peaceful it is with a castle, a lighthouse and amazing sea views. And you can get something wonderful to eat at the Castle Cafe! Just magical!
